When should I start using Jenercode?

Ideally, during discovery. Jenercode can capture requirements, stakeholder input and decisions as they emerge, so the project context does not need to be reconstructed when development begins. If you already have a URD or specification, you can start from that instead.

What is Jenercode?

Jenercode is an application-first software platform that can understand, build, change and upgrade software while maintaining the context of the application as a whole.

How is Jenercode different from LLM coding tools?

Typical LLM coding workflows operate through repeated prompts and developer-managed context. Jenercode maintains full application context and includes the orchestration, controls, build, validation and cost visibility required to move toward a complete software outcome.

Do I need to write code?

No coding is required to define and build an application through Jenercode. Technical users can still work with the resulting code, repository and deployment environment.

Do I need to watch the build?

No. Once the quote is signed off the build is unattended — no prompts, no diffs to approve, no commands to allow. Everything Jenercode needed to know was settled before it started; that is what discovery, the prototype and the quote are for. A build takes around ten to fifteen minutes and reports each stage as it runs, so you can close the tab and come back to it.

This is the difference between deciding in advance and being asked as it goes. An assistant that requests permission for every edit moves the work back to you, and attention is finite: the twentieth approval gets less scrutiny than the first. Jenercode puts the decisions in front of the build, where you can still think about them.

How are client change requests handled?

Jenercode includes a ticketing workflow that allows agencies and consultancies to capture client change requests and, once approved, feed them directly into the retained project context for implementation.

Can Jenercode work with an existing application?

Yes. Jenercode can interrogate and explain an existing codebase, build application context, document it, identify vulnerabilities and provide a route to upgrade or refactor it.

Which languages and frameworks does Jenercode build in?

A new application is built as a Laravel (PHP) or FastAPI (Python) backend with a Vue, React or Next.js front end; as a standalone Java service on Spring Boot; or as a standalone Flutter application.

Reading an existing codebase is not limited to that list. Analysis, documentation and the recovery of business intent work on the code you already have, whatever it is written in — the list above is what Jenercode writes, not what it can read.

Who owns the code Jenercode produces?

The customer can own the software Jenercode produces on payment for the code, subject to the applicable Jenercode terms and conditions.

Can I see the cost before I commit?

Yes. Cost visibility is part of the Jenercode process so the build can be understood before you commit to the resulting code.

Can Jenercode deliver into my existing environment?

Jenercode is designed to work with existing development environments and can deliver code into the customer’s repository or supported deployment environment.

Does Jenercode operate and monitor my application after deployment?

Where the application is hosted in your own AWS account, yes. You create the account and run a script that grants Jenercode a role scoped to the infrastructure and its logs, and Jenercode then provisions, deploys, monitors and patches what the application runs on. Bugs and security issues found in the logs are remediated automatically, because a defect is not a decision. A new or recommended feature is put to your project team and built only once they approve it, because that changes what the application does and what it costs. The role carries no billing and no account administration permissions, and you can revoke it by deleting the stack. If you host elsewhere, all of this is yours or your technology partner’s.
